The Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS)
Employers are required to give each new employee a copy of the FWIS before or soon after the commencement of their job. The FWIS provides details on their entitlements and conditions of employment, and can be delivered to employees in person or via mail, fax or email (either as an attachment or link to the website).
What has changed in the new version?
According to the Fair Work Ombudsman:
We’ve updated the Fair Work Information Statement to make it easier for you to understand minimum workplace entitlements.
